Richness

Thank God for that
thank earth for that ,
old friends are
multiplying in numbers ,
waving to me
greeting me with a smile ,
with shining eyes ,
shaking hands ,
my pals all the way
from the time
before I was conceived ,
making me feel
how rich it all has been
how rich it is and will be ,
the lives through which
we walk
with closed eyes
and trusting , happy souls .
