Respect atleast in their burial

The gift of life
was delicate ,
beautiful ,
vulnerable ,
was never appreciated
sufficiently ,
empty words
could not ensure
it's safety ,
if it is broken
into pieces
which can never
be rejoined ,
sense dictates
that the pieces be given
respect atleast
in their burial ;
And get on with life
as though
nothing has happened ,
without any further delay .
A respectful death
is everyone's right.
