If there is anything
constant in these
daily transitions
from the darkness of night to dawn ,
it is the urge ,
the need ,
the effort ,
and struggle
to renew itself
layer by layer ,
until each and every
subatomic space
is cleansed ,
and is once again
vibrant
with light ,
with life .
